She was convicted to pay 80,000 dollars a song for 28 songs that she downloaded from Kazza
I wonder how bored the RIAA has to be to bust a 42 year old single mother of four from minnesota? And where did they come up with the figure 80,000 dollars a song.

Considering an average CD costs about $20 and contains around 10 songs, realistically she should only have to pay $60 for the 28 songs she downloaded and perhaps pay a fine of a few thousand dollars (or an equivalent jail sentence). It's absolutely ridiculous that she's been charged $80,000 a song and just goes to show that the RIAA are a bunch of complete morons.
